Metacognite Software ("Metacognite", "we", "us") is a software engineering company based at Jashra Talpukur, Mitra Para, Chakdaha, West Bengal 741222, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information you give us: when you submit the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, company, phone number, country, budget, timeline and project description.
Technical information: our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
We do not use advertising trackers. Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

The contact page embeds a Google Map, and client video testimonials are hosted on YouTube. The map loads with the contact page; a video loads only when you press play (using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode). In both cases Google may collect information in line with its own privacy policy.
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, and are deleted on request. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us.
